About Chatzy

Chatzy is random video chat built for South Africa. One stranger at a time, face to face, with a Next button for when you want someone new.

The format is not new. Omegle made it famous and closed in 2023, and the apps that followed mostly added a login wall, an install and a shop. Chatzy goes the other way: a website, three choices, your camera, and you are talking to someone. There is no payment system and no account to create.

Video and sound go to the person you are matched with and are never recorded or stored. An age check comes before the first chat, the flag reports and blocks in one tap, and people who are reported repeatedly are banned. Chatzy is for adults only.
